i honestly have so much to say but ill keep it short
this was so beautiful, i loved it so much. i rarely cry when it comes to manhwa but i lowk bawled my eyes out towards the ending.
i really enjoyed the fact that there was no sm** (only implications of it) imo it was rlly refreshing.
i would also like to add that the ml isnt as bad as what everyone says in the comments, yes hes manipulative and a bit possessive but he isnt as bad as other mls (jinx, low tide in twilight, etc)

Something's odd about the story but at the end of the day, it was a great one.
I just found this story by scrolling through the yaoi section. I admit that this is more of an action/adventure type of manhwa. And besides, it's like a ripped off version of Tomb Raider King.
Nevertheless, this story is filled with its own stories and plot twists. Thanks for this, author!
I'm raiting this a 9.6/10. 🤙🏻 Solid and a must read!

It was lovely, and really took om PTSD and suicide. I liked how he wasn't instantly cured just 'cause he fell in love. But that the story concluded that the victory was that he desired to live and to want to get better. It ends with yiseon agreeing to see a therapist and starting on his long road to recovery.

Simply WOW!
A well written story and character development for both MC and ML. More than MC and ML I loved the side characters more. Guild members are awesome ❤️

It was... really amazing. I recommend it with all my heart, I did not expect such depth and references to real problems. I also like the balance between the action plot and the love story. I will definitely read the novel, because the manhwa has many shortcomings and it is obvious that many threads have been omitted. So enjoy your journey into this story and see you after reading the novel! ( ˘ ³˘)♥︎

This is an absolute masterpiece I must say, the story and everything are just incredible.
its actually the first manhwa with donguens that I found entertaining to read. The ml is not exactly op, although he's a high class "hunter". I like how they did fail at some missions.
At the start to the late-middle chapters of this manhwa. The ML look manipulative. But he did get better afterwards.

Spoiler!
The ml wants to take COMPLETE control of the ml(2), so he acts nice to gain his trust
the ml(2), is a depressed character. With suicidal thoughts and multiple panic attacks during this, also have PTSD.
Spoiler!
At the mid point of this Manhwa, the ml(2) did attempt to suicide and he also got hallucinations because of his PTSD.

This story is amazing. A great mix of both a slow-paced romance and the category of shounens with guilds and people with powers fighting enemies. The plot is interesting and suspenseful, keeping me on the edge of my seat for the past 70 chapters looking forward to what happens next.

It might do you some good fishing out my review of Necromancer Survival. The reason is simple: this one and that one have the exact same tropes and premises, but different quality of execution.
Both have a secondary focus on action. The fights and the monsters aren't really the center of attention here. Both have a very likeable cast, with a #damaged® MC and a very calculative and shrewd ML, slowly drowning in obsession.
But this one actually fixes all of my gripes with Necromancer Survival's "shonen ai" narration. That is to say, it doesn't improve on the action.
Nonetheless, we lose the undead mind control that warps feelings, but we gain, in order:
1) Substantially better art, thanks also to some truly stunning scenes with the reconstruction of dungeons and extremely polished character designs. To note, I really like the use of the visual concept of shadows with Hyeon's character: where he is, dark silhouettes, shapes and obscure gestures follow.
2) A more indepth characterization, with a balanced and credible approach to trauma, without fast developments but definitely not stagnant. And as I said, this is thanks to the art too.
And lastly, the truly revolutionary thing: a fuc**** functioning pacing. Fu** yeah, the relationship grows steadily and naturally. Fu** yeah, there is actually a plot to speak of, giving you a constantly "on edge" feeling of risk without falling into tragedy territory. High stakes, with some properly fuc*** psychology, and satisfying fluff both from the side cast and, in a more deranged way, the main couple.
Sure, it doesn't have s**. Neither do you. Cry me a river.
A 9+ on the Ivern Scale™️. There are some things it could've done slightly better, like a dedicated and multifaceted showing of the side cast's emotions, or better dungeon structures and monster design, but these are opportunities for improvement, and not really defects. Asking for a top notch action department in what is primarily a shonen ai might be too much.
