Black Dragon’s Choice

This is a story about a woman who one day becomes a furry scaly. She tried to be normal so, so hard, but then she meets a egotistic lizard and her life goes down the drain. 

FL is a nice gal. Written very coherently, and relatably. She is doing fine, but one fateful day she encounters an overgrown alligator. Regrettably, he is ML, and he is... truly, not human. I like how, unlike many other stories, when the author says that ML is a mythological monster that lived centuries, he means it. Mr. Im is a narcissist, a snarky bas****, an incomprehensibly amoral, chaotic idiot. He thinks in a strange, deranged way, and yet he is still very funny and enjoyable as a character. He is the kind of guy that gets trapped in his own decisions out of sheer stubborness. Thank G** he has a nice face. 

As you can see, both the characterization and the art are pretty nice. Quality work, extremely stable. The translation is just as stable, too, but there are some problems with the writing. Namely, the pacing is very relaxed. It's a story centered around their relationship, but the events in it are pretty predictable and they happen somewhat slowly. The entire thing is completely kept up by the characters, which I admittedly adore, and the themes about change and personal principles are nice, but you gotta move the fu** on at a certain point. 

A pity. A more dynamic plot would've made it practically perfect. 8½ on the Ivern Scale™️, on the verge of 5 stars.
