Geez. Making me go with 4 stars. You practically forced me, y'know. I didn't want to. I was ready to give you my heart. My wretched, husk of a heart. But you just had to bust my figurative ãss uh? 

You see, this one is pretty contradictory. A regression story, but not exactly a dungeon raiding plot. A distinctive and plump art style, but with a somewhat disturbing thing for thighs. Since the cast is majorly made of children, you can guess where the problem lies. And so can the FBI. Nothing too egregious, but a little uncomfy. 

Apart from that, again with the contradictions. The characterization is unapologetically cringe. Like, tryhardy as fu**, but it does have its moments of fluff and family warmth which I genuinely appreciate, along with the bålls of not time skipping for all his teen years and still not becoming boring. 

And also, the action. Absolutely majestic. In the sense that it decided to go with a continuous budget splurge and every fight is a visually stunning dance of precise movements, amazing art and dynamic drawing prowess. It is remarkable. And all in service to... *drumroll* A pretty... okay... Power system. Key word, AGAIN, is contradiction: I love the fights, but the asspulls abound. Mana can be used for everything and nothing, growth is unsteady, there is no particular identity in each character's powerset. It could be worse, but also a lot better.

Listen, "system" tropes exist for a reason. They are a cheat for giving structure and definition to your power system. If you are not able to do the hard as fu** fine balancing needed for a soft magic system, go with those. They are cheap and effective. 

Sadly, not with this one. Hence, the 4 stars. Göd, just imagine, this kind of action art in the service of proper powersets... Downright lewd. 8+ on the Ivern Scale™️!

Typical regressor manhwua, he goes back in time and does everything he can to protect his family and friends
