Starting with the positives: the art style is cute and visually appealing, making it enjoyable to look at. The comic is also a quick and easy read, with each chapter being just 3 to 5 panels long. The pastel, pink color palette is pleasing and adds to the overall aesthetic.

 

However, if you're looking for a strong plot, this comic isn't for you. It's clearly a slice of life meant to be silly, which is fine, but that doesn't mean it's beyond criticism. The most noticeable issue is its repetitive nature: the main character (MC) is repeatedly fangirled over by women, whether at work or elsewhere. While I understand that this is part of the slice-of-life genre, it feels frustrating when the comic occasionally hints at deeper themes like the MC's social anxiety and struggle to form friendships, only to revert back to the same repetitive formula.

 

Moreover, the comic randomly touches on uncomfortable themes like incest and pedophilia, which feel out of place here. The MC is often harassed and sexualized, which becomes disturbing, especially since she never stands up for herself due to her insecurity and desire not to upset others. Lastly, the writing can be difficult to follow, which might be a translation issue, but it’s still frustrating at times.

 

Should you read this? Only if you're in the mood for a light, silly read and don't mind turning your brain off. Enjoy it if you're still interested, but be aware of the issues mentioned.
